Contraception and Sexual Health
Our Doctors have many years of experience working in both student health and sexual health clinics as well as providing women of all ages with their contraceptive needs.
- We are pleased to be able to offer Implanon insertion services. We can discuss and prescribe the Mirena coil but we do not insert them at the surgery here.
We are part of the government scheme for free contraception care. To avail of this scheme you need to:
- Be 17-31 year old women, girls, trans and non-binary with a uterus.
- It is a requirement that you are living in Ireland
- We will need your PPS number on file to avail of this service.

We offer a Sexual Health Service that includes testing for Sexually transmitted infections.
- Free home STI testing is available through the HSE, click here for more information.
- Anyone who is aged 17 or over can order a free STI test to their home or other valid postal address in Ireland.
